This program assesses candidates based on their work experience skills and their eventual ability to economically establish themselves in Canada. Selected candidates will apply through the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevisacanada.com\/services\/canadian-permanent-residence-options\/express-entry-skilled-immigration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Express Entry<\/a><\/strong>. Candidates are selected assessed through different parameters.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-760c886 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"760c886\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b7a11e inner-content elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1b7a11e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2><strong>Eligibility requirements for FSWP:<\/strong><\/h2><p>To be eligible to apply under FSWP, you must:<\/p><ol><li>Able to achieve at least 67 points in the FSWP selection factors.<\/li><li>Be admissible and eligible to work and enter Canada.<\/li><li>Have financial proof to support you and your family (if any).<\/li><li>Meet minimum language levels.<\/li><li>Have at least one year of full-time work experience in the last 10 years.<\/li><\/ol><hr \/><h2><strong>Six (06) Selection Factors of FSWP:<\/strong><\/h2><p>There are six selection factors to score points for FSWP:<\/p><h3><strong>Work Experience<\/strong><\/h3><p>To apply for the FSWP, you must have work experience according to Skill Type 0, Skill Type A, or Skill Type B on the Canadian National Occupation Classification (NOC). You should have at least one year of full-time experience in the same NOC. Full-time experience counts as 30 hours per week or an equal amount of time in a part-time job. This experience must be in the last ten years of your working years. Volunteer work and internships do not count as full-time experience. Your duties and responsibilities must correspond with the duties and responsibilities stated in the NOC.\u00a0<\/p><h3><strong>Language Proficiency<\/strong><\/h3><p>The FSWP program requires mandatory language skills of English\/French to be eligible to apply. You must have taken an approved language test with a minimum score of Canadian Language Benchmark CLB 7 in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Your test results should not be more than two years old.<\/p><h3><strong>Education<\/strong><\/h3><p>If the applicant has gone to school in Canada, he\/she must have certificates\/diplomas\/degrees from a Canadian high school or recognized institution. In case the applicant has foreign education he\/she must possess an Educational Credential Assessment ECA report from an approved agency that confirms his\/her education is equal to a certificate\/diploma\/degree from a Canadian school or institution.\u00a0<\/p><h3><strong>Age<\/strong><\/h3><p>The applicant gets age points based on his\/her age on the day IRCC receives a complete application. Maximum points are 12 in-between the age of 18 to 35 years and then there is a deficit of 1 point per year and it becomes 0 at the age of 47 years.<\/p><h3><strong>Adoptability<\/strong><\/h3><p>The applicant may get a maximum of 10 points towards the adaptability factor if either spouse has a relative in Canada, Past studies in Canada, and\/or past work experience in Canada. Or, if the principal applicant has arranged employment in Canada and spouse language ability.<\/p><h3><strong>Arranged Employment<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3><p>If you have a valid\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevisacanada.com\/services\/labour-market-impact-assessment-lmia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>LMIA<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0based or\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevisacanada.com\/lmia-exempt-job-offers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LMIA exempt Job offer<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0of a full-time position, there are an additional 10 points.<\/p><hr \/><h2><strong>Details breakdown of FSW Point System<\/strong><\/h2><p>Applicants are assessed based upon the FSW Point system which requires them to have at least 67 points to be eligible to apply.\u00a0 Points are given based on:<\/p><h3><strong>1. Education:<\/strong><\/h3><p>You can achieve a maximum of 25 points for educational credentials. You will be scored according to the type of degree\/certificate\/diploma you have.
